Mesa Downtown Merchants are proud to announce another celebration of Mesa Old West Days on Saturday, October 18, 2008. This expanded community centered event will showcase the rich pioneer and territorial history of Mesa, Arizona.  The festival will be located on MacDonald St. between Main Street and 1st Avenue in downtown Mesa

     • 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers
     • 1800’s Baseball Team
     • Various Vittle Vendors & Refreshments
     • Mojave Muleskinners re-enactment group
     • 19th century music
     • Evening Dance Cotillion
     • Western Re-enactment Competition

     • Poets, Authors, & Speakers
     • Old West Shooting Gallery
     • Roping and Gold Panning for the kids

Friday 10/17

7pm-9pm  Vendor Meet and Greet - click link for details

Saturday 10/18

7:00 AM Vendors begin set up

10:00 AM Event formally opens

10:30 AM until 6:00 PM: Festival events begin: Gunfights will alternate with Festival events such as music performers, authors, speakers, etc.

11:00 AM Food booths begin offering lunch.

6:00 PM Vendors close down. Food booths offer dinner.

6:30 PM Prizes and awards made for Gunfighters and Costumes.

7:00 PM Cotillion begins.

9:00 PM Festival closes. Clean-up begins.
